It’s Yellowness Index (YI) starts at 1.5 and lower, whereas traditional PVB interlayers (YI) is between 6 to12. The lower the better, and this means clearer glass that will not turn yellow over time and there are no adhesives, plasticizers or other laminating aids that could cause delamination or a reduction in clarity.
